The shirt is COOL! The sign of "marry" in ASL made me think of the joke, which was amusing.
This book is a gem!! Our whole family and family friends found it adorable and loved the pop-up, the stories in both ASL and English! My kids knew some of the stories, but some they didn't know and this was a great opportunity to pass on deaf culture through the ages!!! Personally, I loved the twist on some of these since different people have variations to these deaf jokes! Priceless way to capture these jokes!
This book is CHAMP- very deaf friendly- lots of visuals. Everyone MUST have it on your collective self! It is truly a gem as it is a bilingual book - ASL videos on QR codes and reading English plus visual pop-ups. This book is an excellent way to preserve Deaf jokes to our next Deaf generation.
